I’m Rachel, a documentary wedding photographer based in Tunbridge Wells, sharing my life with my partner Rick and our two little fur babies, Eric and Philly. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me going for long walks, spending time with loved ones, baking something sweet or sipping on Aperol spritz in the sunshine.

CAPTURING ALL THE MOMENTS THAT MAKE THE DAY UNIQUELY YOURS

how it started

Photography stole my heart in my early twenties when I started exploring the world. From safari, city breaks to quirky stays and being drawn to unique experiences that felt authentic and made me feel truly alive. Photography became my way of capturing moments, places and feelings - memories that I could relive time and time again.

I’ve always been the one trusted to capture life as it unfolds for my friends and family, so turning that passion into a career felt like fate doing its thing. Today, I photograph weddings in a way that is authentic, story-led and deeply human - capturing the belly laughs, the happy tears, the nerves, the stolen glances and the moments you didn’t even realise were happening.

My love for human connection came from studying psychology. I’m endlessly drawn to and fascinated by people and the ways we connect. A wedding day is filled with anticipation, emotion, and beautifully in-between moments. I love patiently observing, anticipating and capturing those intimate moments of real connection that come together to tell a story.

If you think we’d get along, I’d love to hear form you. Let's chat.

Get to Know Me - Some weird and wonderful things

BUCKET LIST ADVENTURE: Antartica is calling! I dream of walking among penguins in their natural habitat. Fun fact: male penguins search tirelessly for the perfect pebble, presenting it as a gift that symbolises commitment, like a penguin wedding ring.

BEHIND THE LENS: One of the reasons I started photography is because I hate being in front of the camera. Capturing moments is way more my style.

SLEEPOVERS WITH A TWIST: I once slept on a bed of ice at -5°C surrounded by a flock of chickens.
Yes, really.

OCEAN THRILLS: Swimming with great white sharks is high on my list. Heart pounding the whole time, safely in a cage, of course. I like to think myself adventurous, just not shark lunch adventurous.

FROZEN DRINKS, Swedish Style: After mushing my team of huskies to a cozy cabin in Swedish Lapland. I treated myself to a G&T by the campfire - only to return for my first sip it was frozen solid. Talk about a truly chill pre dinner drink!

DINNER AND DANGER: I’ve had dinner in the open African bush while a leopard silently circled nearby - a little scary but utterly thrilling.

SUPERPOWER OF CHOICE: Time travel, without question. Airports, queues, and endless travel hours? No thanks . I’d rather skip straight to the excitement.

ADVENTUROUS EATING: In Japan, I braved what is known as a 100 year old egg - a daring taste that
pushed my culinary limits and left me with a story I’ll never forget.

HIGH- FLYING ADVENTURES: Give me anything airborne - hot air balloons, gliding, heli-flying, parasailing, skydiving, even wing walking I have tried them all. This is where I’m most alive, soaring above it all. Who knows......maybe one day I’ll even make it to space. Dreamy, right?

MAGICAL NIGHTS: I stayed in a treehouse hideaway surrounded by mirror walls that blended seamlessly
with the forest. The aurora borealis swirled above, it felt like the sky itself came to visit me - a moment I
will never forget.

DINING ON ICE: I’ve even had dinner on a frozen lake. Because why not?

I HAVE A DEEP PASSION FOR CAPTURING AUTHENTIC MOMENTS

my love for street photogpraphy

I am very fascinated by capturing the authentic, unscripted moments that happen around us every day. There’s something so special about photographing the little interactions between strangers and the unexpected moments that tell a story about the world we live in.

When I’m out with my camera, I’m always looking for the details that might otherwise go unnoticed - reflections, interesting compositions, pockets of light, shadows, shapes, visual jokes and colours that happen to match.

For me, street photography is about finding beauty in the ordinary and capturing a little snapshot of life exactly as it happens.
